NOTE: I typed this out with no drivers installed, and it hasn't crashed. This makes me strongly believe it's a driver issue.
Let me start this by saying I'm by no means well-versed in computer lingo or knowledge in general. I know the basics from High School and that's it. That being said, my issue is with an RX 480 running until about 10 minutes post-startup. It will then freeze the desktop, and go black, turning both monitors off. Temps are running fine, I've tried drivers 16.12.1 and 16.12.2 and both give me similar issues, with .1 lasting longer before the crash. Odd.
Note: yes, i am aware of the CPU bottleneck, I just got this 480 as a gift, and have yet to upgrade the CPU.
My Specs:
AMD RX480
AMD FX-8320
8gb HyperX DDR3 RAM
850W Seasonic PSU
If you need more info, please let me know what I can provide with the thought in mind that I don't know much about computers. If I need to paste anything, just let me know and I'll reply fairly soon.
Thanks for any help you can offer, I can switch back to my old card in the meantime if need be.
