amd ryzen 1700x overclocking

i just upgraded to the ryzen 1700x and wanted to know where i can overclock to with the wraith spire cooler ? thanks in advance

There's no exact number we can give you as every CPU overclocks differently, just go up 100mhz at a time (& adjust voltage if needed) until it's stable and stays fairly cool under load.

i was able to overcclock to 3.8 with my ryzen 1600 p[previously

You may be able to get close with the 1700X however with the extra cores will probably generate a bit more heat.
