Got a budget desktop 4 days ago which i am planning on upgrading in the future but it seems to be running quite slow and laggy. I performed a user benchmark test and the results are attached. Please can someone explain why my PC is performing below expectation.

Solution

Yes, it would, but getting another 4gb will help. 2 x 8gbs might be wasted a little in that system.. Because it's a proprietary HP system, it might be best getting extra ram from HP, rather than 3rd party.

Well, you've only 4gbs of ram by the looks of it, which is just about enough to run windows, and start up programs. That would impact performance majorly. You should ideally have 8gbs of ram, in dual channel mode, specially with a Ryzen iGPU which needs that to run well.

That also what's impacting your GPU score. Fast ram, and enough ram make Ryzen 2200/2400g run much better.
