AMD Ryzen 3 2200g Vega graphics no display after driver update

My pc specs is: Ryzen 3 2200g CPU, Vega 8 GPU, 4x2 ddr4 kingston hyperX ram, corsair vs450w PSU, and MSI a320m pro vh plus. (I already updated the bios to the latest version to support my cpu.) My problem is my pc is using the Microsoft basic display adapter and I managed to update the drivers via amd driver installer software and after the driver update there is no display. My monitor is a Samsung Syncmaster SA300. I am using HDMI from motherboard to DVI D Monitor. Is it because I am using a DVI monitor?

Yes. I also have tried it. After updating it there is no display.

Try resetting your BIOS to its default state and try restarting the system again. Use either the motherboard jumper or remove the coin-style battery method.

Maybe I should buy a new monitor with HDMI input instead? The monitor I'm using is very old anyway and the ports are outdated since it doesn't have an HDMI input. What do you think?

Try resetting your BIOS to its default state and try restarting the system again. Use either the motherboard jumper or remove the coin-style battery method.

Have tried that also, still don't work.

The monitor is not the issue. The HDMI - DVI adapter should still carry the necessary signal. Try resetting the BIOS first.

Do you have access to a HDTV with an available HDMI port? If so, connect to it to see if it makes a difference.

Also, are you able to access the BIOS screen (before Windows boots)?

Yes, I do. And Yes I am able to access BIOS screen. I'll try that tomorrow and see if it does make a difference. Hope you still get in touch with me. Thanks for the replies.

It worked on the HDTV using HDMI and I am currently using Vega 8. Will buy a new monitor soon. Thank you and God bless
