If the news over the past month is evident of anything, it's that the Ryzen 3000 CPUs will be expensive. AMD has been securing a lot of contracts for Laptops, System Builders, and Gaming consoles featuring their Ryzen 3000 CPUs. For a company like AMD that shares production capacity, I think they will face shortages of the CPU initially due to high demand. I'm thinking maybe a 50% premium over what we would expect from the Ryzen 2000 CPUs.

Hard to say till it happens.

Considering that every line is purported to step up to the next in cores/perf, I see them as being a deal everywhere but the highest end R7/9.
