Question AMD RYZEN 7 2700X - High Idle Temp /Temp Spikes

Mobo: B350M Bazooka - Fully Updated BIOS

Has been this way ever since I got it. Multiple new CPU coolers and thermal paste applications have been tried. There is no Overclocking done to the CPU Ambient Temp is only 23C / 73F

Cant seem to figure out what is causing spike of 10C+

Any Ideas?

Yes completley Idle. Only thing that was going on was the recording of that video i took.

Temp for cpu is normally around 38c idle and has spikes of 48-50c idle

During that recording temps were a little higher and spikes were a little higher but that makes sense.

Ambient air is 23C/73F

But what my main concern is. is the Spikes in temp while doing absolutely nothing.

Does your ryzen do this as well?

I just finished building mine yesterday, and from what I understand, it's normal with the 2700X.

Not sure how accurate HWMonitor is with Ryzen, but mine fluctuates between 32-41° at idle. It only got to 73° running Cinebench though, so not worried.
