Question AMD Ryzen 7 2700x Temperature

I recently built a new rig, but I've noticed that my CPU alternates temperature frequently. While idling, the temp starts at 39c, then climbs instantly to 48 to 49. After it hits that temp, it'll slowly climb down back to 39, then shoot right back up. I'm using the default stealth cooler, and stock case 120mm fans. If it helps, my PC case is the h500i. Is this fine, or do I need to do some work? Thanks.
