Hi everyone. I have a ASUS FX505DT laptop which came with 8gb 2666mhz ram. The cpu is AMD Ryzen 3750H. I bought one more memory module, 8gb 2400mhz. Every module is in its own channel. Sometimes i see very minor sound shutters while browsing web or similar. Is this due to different ram speeds? In theory, it shouldn't be a problem cuz max memory speed defined by AMD is 2400mhz and the 2666mhz module should run slower. Thank you for your response.Sorry, my english isn't perfect :)

Mixing different RAM, is not recommended, since they were not tested to work together and could cause a myriad of issues.
Some system will default to the lower speed RAM for stability purpose.
Sometimes it could work just fine and some other it could give issues (errors, hangs, freezes, BSOD, etc),
