I saw the 5900X go down last night and that made my Intel vs AMD decision easy. Now I just need to decide on a motherboard!
The PC I picked up 6 months ago second-hand ($1000 US, which included a 5700XT GPU) had a really cheap ASUS PRIME B550M-A WI-FI in it. So I did the unthinkable and pulled the 3700X CPU and dropped a 5950X in its place. Other than having to flash the BIOS, I've had no issues with that MB. But I admit that it might not be everyone's cup of tea... but provides funds for other parts.

Cool! The cheaper boards shouldn't be a problem at all. I just order the ASUS STRIX B550-F no wifi for $160 USD. I did a ton of research and can't find any reason to spend more money. I'll save my money for a new GPU later.
