Hey so I already asked some questions regarding Ryzen 3000 vs 5000 now I am wondering if an Intel Core i9 9900kf will do the Job similar to an AMD Ryzen 9 5900x. Because of some Repairs in my Home I don't have enough Money for the Ryzen 9 now I found an I9 9900kf for 280 Euros which is in my Budget. I am not really in to Intel any more, so I don't know if it has similar Performance to a Ryzen 9 5900x. I would use it for Premiere Pro, After Effects, Houdini and some Apex Legends, my GPU is a 2070 Super and I have 32gb RAM. Now I am wondering if the I9 9900KF would perform similar to a Ryzen 9 5900x with my GPU and RAM, Or should I just get a Ryzen 9 3900x. Its pretty important because my Current CPU (Ryzen 5 2600) is not really getting the Job done in After Effects and Houdini any more. thx for any answers and Help :D

What motherboard do you have ? If you go over to Intel, you need a new mobo. With an AMD CPU you could use the mobo you already have.

Mainboard is no problem a friend of mine sells his Gigabyte z370 for a good price and i would need to get a new one for AMD aswell i dont wanna update my Bios and i heard that i cant use the full potential of the Ryzen 9 5900x with a b450 board

See if , after BIOS update, yourB450 would support 5900X....

Just because B450 does not support PCI-e 4.0 is no reason to avoid the 5900X path, choosing instead a completely different and slower mainboard and CPU (which also does not have PCIe 4.0 ) just to avoid a 5 minute BIOS update procedure?

The Ryzen 9 5900X will stomp all over the i9-9900KF in your multi-threaded applications.
Gaming would be close but, for IPC, the 5900X's still has the edge. This is assuming all the other components are performing equally between the two setups.

What's the speed of your 32GBs of RAM? You should make sure you're running 3600MHz RAM at a minimum.

Yeah i Chose the Ryzen and will get a x570 Board For it

My B450 Supports the R9 5900x its Just For 1 Month i will get a x570 soon
A x570 is not necessarily better. A high quality B450 can be better than a low end X570. For example from reviews I have seen the MSI B450 Tomahawk Max has better VRM’s than some entry level X570 boards. A Tomahawk Max should have no trouble running a 5900x. So if you have a good B450 motherboard unless you need a feature of an X570 board you won’t be gaining anything by changing. It would be good to know what you have now.

It’s a decent B450 and I’d expect it to be fine running a 5900x. That X570 is an upgrade but unless you need one of it’s features it’s going to perform the same. I don’t see any reason to not try your B450 board.
Yeah i will use the b450 For 1-2 Month and get the x570 later i wanna get it For a Second m2 Slot and Just For the Future with PCIE 4.0
