News AMD Ryzen AI 300 MAX series APU support spotted in latest chipset driver from Asus

I'm def excited for release! I'm a mini PC enthusiast and am upgrading from my 6900hx based UM690S (Minisforum). I am getting a Strix Point one soon and will also be getting a Halo one next year (when ever they come out that is)!

Do I need all these, hell no! Lol

Do I want them ... Absolutely yes!

Im kinda wondering if it's viable and what the cost would be for AMD to release something like the PS5 soc for PC (but with modern zen 5c etc.). That would be a banger, especially for laptops and stuff. Having a gaming laptop without a dGPU would be actually pretty bonkers.

Yeah it would. The next gen of the Z series is rumored to be announced at CES 2024 as well. I wonder if it is in anyway related to Halo or something. I know it will be a low power APU, but even if not, I'd love to see a MoDT PS based mini or laptop! Cool idea!
