[SOLVED] Amd ryzen bios update

I currently have the amd ryzen 1600 and I saw some new bios updates availible I want to know if I will get any more performance gain for the 1000 series or at least if its fully compatible with it or its just meant for the 2000-3000 series because I saw some updates the was for gamers too I have the asrock a320m I want to update it but I want to make sure everything thing is fully compatible

If you are referring to the AMD AGESA 1.0.0.6 firmware update, it improves memory compatibility, and virtualization features.
AMD added support for more RAM and expanded memory frequencies up to DDR4-4000.
The only thing that might be related to performance is the expanded memory speed options.
So if if you had RAM that wasn't running at rated speed, you might have a chance to fix that.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. If you PC is running fine, memory timings are good, don't update. You will generally get no benefit and could have negative consequences.
