AMD Sapphire dual-x R9 285 & 390, whats the differents and what should i choose.

i'm building a gaming pc and i got these two graphic cards which i very like. but i don't know what the exact differents is between these two, nor which i should pick.

any people who are willing to help me out?? you can also suggest a whole different card, but im trying to keep it around 200 euro's

simply put: 285 and 390 have different gpus. here's a specs comparison

390 is newer (and a slightly overclocked rebrand of the r9 290), faster, more power hungry than the 285.
an nvidia option may be a geforce gtx 970 4GB.
 


haha oh shit I made a mistake, it said the 380 instead of the 390.. sorry i'm really tired 😛.
 

nah, you only got the model number wrong - the 380 is a rebranded 285. :) means both are more or less the same. the later models tend to be a bit cheaper (highly depends on market situation and availability). you can check out the specs table from the link posted earlier. both have the same gpu, same specs except the 380 has slight overclock on the gpu and the vram. the 380 also has more vram, so that's always a plus.
 


the 380 is basically a rebadged 285, but some of them have more vram, so unless you are getting the 4GB model, it doesn't really made a difference. just get the one with the best cooler.
