AMD Sapphire R9 270 fan rpm

Hey guys. I'm having some trouble with my fan rpm on my R9 270 GPU. its constantly running at max rpm which is right around 4100 rpm. no matter what i try it doesn't change. I've tried fan controller software. It doesn't work. Any suggestions?

Try MSI Afterburner, it will allow you to change your fan speed.

You should be able to modify fan speeds in the AMD Catalyst Control Centre.

The manual fan control didn't work even after you enabled it in AMD CCC? That'd be odd if that didn't work. You could try installing the latest stable driver version (Catalyst 14.4, or try beta drivers 14.7 or 14.9).
