Why has AMD's share price dropped by >40% within the last 6 months?? I thought AMD was doing quite well, now their market share price has been slashed in half...very confusing.

The acquisition would be an all-stock transaction through which AMD shareholders would own 74% of the combined company and Xilinx shareholders would own 26%. AMD's share price was about $143 when the deal was announced; it's currently $82.

Stock prices are all corrupt and based on some ones speculation. It is totally corrupt.
