Question amd shortage

i see that tsmc makes amd chips, and intel makes their own. due to the fact that tsmc is behind in making chips for everyone, i was just wondering if their can become a amd shortage. i thought there might of been with the r5 5600x , but it seems to available now in a few places...i got scared, and snagged one up, being fearful that amd could be like the graphics cards shortage..is this possible?????>

AMD had a shortage of these CPUs like the 5600x awhile back, but stock seeks to have stabilized.

i was not going to take any chances, and got the 5600x. its too unstable at the moment, at least i believe it is

ok, i was not aware of the stability, i was just on the internet, reading about the chip shortage, and amd does not make its own chip like intel

yup, upgraded my asus b450-f motherboard from r5-3600x to r5 5600x, and my r5 3600x going into my msi x370 pro carbon rig, that has the r5 1600.......had to upgrade the bios in the x370 rig to recognize the r5 3600x.....done with my amd rigs...got a case coming for my intel rig, that is going to have the i7-10700kf.....and then i am done with my computers...i like to have one intel and one amd rig, with modern cpus
