Hi guys,
I have an IdeaPad 3 15ALC6 with:
Ryzen 5 5500U
20GB of DDR4 RAM
512GB SSD and
Windows 11 Pro, etc.
Also I have AMD Software Adrenalin Edition as well as AMD Chipset Software. Every single driver is up to date, Windows as well.
Recently I found out that the folder AMD, which contains files of mentioned AMD softwares, has accumulated almost 30GB of junk (setup.exe for newer versions, install files etc.) over two years of using this laptop. I deleted all, and it still happens, yesterday a single install file for new version of AMD software was almost 4GB. It is annoying.
There is another problem, which might be connected to previously mentioned problem. Sometimes I get blue screen "Your PC run into a problem" while booting. It boots for like 3-4 mins with stucked loading animation then the blue screen pops up. It boots normaly after restarting it, then I get AMD Crash report window saying that some driver issues have happened.
I've got no idea how to fix it. I tried reinstalling all drivers I thought are connected to this problem but still boot failure sometimes.
