"AMD specific ram" Is this a thing?

So, I'm trying to fix up a PC with missing components for as little as possible, and one thing that is confusing me, is my RAM situation. See, The motherboard is the Acer EG31M-S2, and whenever I go searching for cheap ram, it always mentions AMD, leaving me rather confused as to whether this "AMD RAM" will work. Could someone help me find out whether these are compatible?

I see this is an older board, Gigabyte brand actually, for Core 2 CPU's (Socket 775). It uses DDR2 RAM.

While there really isn't such a thing as AMD specific RAM, the RAM timing requirements on AMD systems for DDR2 were sometimes finicky during then. The reason why they mark it as AMD RAM is to guarantee it works in AMD systems. The cheap RAM 'should' work just fine on your Intel setup as the issue wasn't as apparent with Intel. Either way, I'd consult with your manual to make sure the timings and speeds are within range.
