Currently my rigs looks as this:
MSI K9A2 CF-F (max 95W CPU)
AMD 64 X2 7850 2.8Ghz
2x2GB KINGSTON DDR2 800Mhz 6400PC
and I am running a 32bit Win 7 enterprise (or something like this.. not a Home edition) and use two HD displays.

I mostly do web-marketing stuff on this rig - e.g. coding, PSing, some small video editing and have a lot of browser and tabs open. The problem is my systems gets rather slow after few hours of work so I was thinking about upgrading it.

Is it economically wise to update this configuration or should I get completely new system? And if yes - what should I upgrade? CPU? RAM? Because I was thinking about adding additional 4GB of RAM and nothing else.

Thanks a lot.

Hi:)

Frankly I dunno... probably around $100-$150? But I will try to buy things second-hand since I don't want to invest a lot...

I was thinking that I could buy another 2x2GB memory set for like $45 and a X4 630 for another $50.. But first I need your advice whether it will be a good idea and whether my current rig/mobo will handle it.

BTW I have 500W PSU...

And will this CPU be 100% compatible with my mobo? Or will it require at least a BIOS flash?

And won't my rather old mobo or DDR2 RAM kinda bottleneck this powerful CPU?

But these CPUs require 125 watts! My mobo supports the maximum of 95 watts, cause I have the CF-F version, not the v2...

And yes - I will probably install the 64bit Win7.

BTW can I add 2x2GB 800mhz CL5 RAMs, but made by Corsair even though I have already 2x2GB 800Mhz CL5 RAMs from Kingston?

Or isn't better to use 2x4 instead of 4x2?

So why does it say this right next to the product image?
"Please note that if your board begins with this serial number, 601-7388-010, your board will only support cpu’s of 95 Watt and lower. You cannot connect a CPU of 125 Watt since this will damage your board."

What number does your serial number begin with? If it doesn't begin with that, then it'll support 125W processors.
