Other then your graphics card bottle necking your system, it looks pretty sweet. Snuck in that SSD eh? hahaha. Don't know if you'll be needing such a beefy PSU for this current build. Seeing as how your mobo isn't Crossfire the only thing I would change is maybe drop the PSU to something a bit more economical (unless I am completely wrong and you plan on swapping out the mobo for a sli or crossfire setup in the near future).

There are a lot of good alternatives today in the price range of the Antec 900 that offer some better features. I would take a look at the CoolerMaster HAF922 and RC-692 II Advanced. Both have great airflow and better cable management options.

Swap that HDD for a Samsung Spinpoint F3, its cheaper and faster.

That PSU is overkill for a 9800GTX. Do you plan on doing SLI down the road? You would be fine with a nice 500-600 watt modular PSU, and for SLI/Crossfire, something like the XFX 750W PSU would be plenty.

If you are just gaming, save some money and drop down to the AMD Phenom II X4 955. Its a good bit cheaper, and will offer the same performance in games. For CPU cooling, I would look at the CoolerMaster Hyper 212+, its cheaper than that Zalman and very highly rated.

Other than that things are pretty solid. However, if this is a gaming build, that GPU is a huge bottleneck. I would say drop the SSD and use the savings from the CPU to get something like a GTX460 or HD6850.

It supports Crossfire, but when I put it together it will just be running the 9800GTX+. I chose the 750TX incase I chose to upgrade to crossfire later on,

Yea that board has 2 PCIE 2.0 for x8/x8

Crossfire = 2+ ATI GPUs

SLI = 2+ nVidia GPUs

Just note that if you do SLI later on, you will need a second 9800. I think you would be better off going with a better GPU now, and dropping the CPU down and taking out the SSD. SSDs are only going to get cheaper, and those old 9800s are only going to get pricier.

im not dropping the ssd. from what iv heard SSDs load OS+apps lightning fast. and the GPU is just temporary i guess because i already have it lol. but what some good GPU i should look at

To run games well at high settings, you would need to look into something like a HD5870 or GTX470. If you want good performance but don't need all the eye-candy cranked up, then you can do fine with a GTX460 1GB or HD6850.

Edit: And obviously there is the SLI/Xfire option, you can great performance from 2 GTX460s or 2 HD6850s.

Like I noted, the build is 100% fine the way it is beside the fact that the GPU will bottleneck your system. You will definitely not be able to play new games at high settings @ 1920x1080 with a 9800GTX. And yes, SSD's do load applications as well as OS's extremely fast but lets be real here folks.. Black friday is literally two weeks away. If I were in the market for a new rig and had ANY BIT of patience, I would at least wait out until Cyber Monday is all done and dead before I click "order" on ANY computer hardware devices. Just my .02.
