I was just wondering as I recently bought a new 3500+ athlon 64 and I think it is running quite warm. I have put a Cooler Master Hyper 6 Heatsink on it and it runs at around 55C under load and about 50C when it is idling. I looked on the AMD site and it doesnt say what they should be running at. does any one know what temp it should be running at. Any help with this will be appreciated.

Thx

What are your idle temps? How are you monitoring temps? What case cooling do you have (#fans, size, location, intake and exhaust)? What case? What are your case temps? Please provide complete system setup! We need more info to answer your question!

My 3500+ 130 runs at 51c (room temp 72f) when maxed out (for several hours) with the heatsink that came with my 3500 from AMD. It only ran a little hotter when i upped it to 2.4 56-58c. I have a new heatsink on the way...
