I want to assemble a computer with the following specs
Processor- AMD FX 8350
GPU- MSI R9 XFX 270x hawk
Motherboard-Asus M5A88-M
Cabinet-NZXT Lexs S
PSU-Antec CX430
Ram- Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600 8GB

Can I assemble this rig and can it plat all the latest games like crysis 3 ,Call of duty Advanced Warfare, Shadow of Mordor, Battlefield 4 , Assasins creed unity at high settings

You'll be able to play those games at high detail with some tweaking of other settings. Change that PSU to at least 500-550w though.

I would downgrade ram to 8 gigs (you will never use over 8 so 16 is a waste of money unless you have dozens and dozens of tabs open and play games at the same time and do EXTREME multitasking)with the money you save on ram get r9 280 or r9 280x or r9 290 or r9 290x instead of 270... gpu is the most important thing to splurge on for gaming pc's... also if you get r9 280 or r9 290 get a 60o+ watt psu...
