Hi, I am buying my first gaming PC, but I can't build one. So I am buying one pre-built, I did research on all parts, but I can't decide between INTEL CPU or AMD CPU. Please help!

Solution
I'm going to try and give you a detailed explanation of both choices.

INTEL PRO's:
1. Generally faster for gaming.
2. Lower electrical costs
3. Lower heat
INTEL CONS:
1. More expensive
2. Motherboard are also more expensive

AMD PRO's:
1. Cheaper
2. Very high overclocking abilities

AMD CON's:
1. Hotter
2. Higher electrical costs
3. Slightly lower amount of compatible coolers. (this may no longer be true, but amd sockets vary wildly and some coolers need adapters.)

Sorry I was just ranting there. Yeah Intel's got the upper hand performance wise but I mean with a 60hz monitor your not gonna notice a thing. AMD is pretty versatile when it comes to their sockets. AM3+ board will fit a bunch of CPU's. It all boils down to your budget. The i5 3570k is the sweet spot when it comes performance per dollar

You have no Idea what you talking about. AMD was Established in California. What wrong with Canada too? I'd pick the Canadian Brand but everything is Made in China
