I was about to upgrade my pc but i cant decide which one is better at rendering and gaming (i dont game that hard)

I5 8400 or Ryzen 5 3400G
I5 9400F or Ryzen 5 3500x

I'm comparing it cause they are soo the same

Rather go with a ryzen in this case, go with the Ryzen 5 3500X if you have access to buy it.
Preferrably go with a Ryzen 5 3600 but if you are in a budget the 3500 is a solid option as it lands itself between the 1700 and the 2700.
