Forgive me for my rants but, I'm curious to know who were the people responsible for designing these?
The MSI meg creation one looks like it was inspired by Japanese anime.
The Gigabyte ones are all very RoboCop.
Asus is still using that tired polygonal dark knight design. And What's with the vents on the Strix's VRM heatsink making the Internet Explorer logo? Seriously?
Its seems the people at ASRock are the only ones who get the value of minimalism.

If X399 is meant to be a content creation platform, why are there so many "gaming" motherboards for it? I can't imagine any HR department would pay twice the price for a "gaming" grade motherboard when they would want a professional one for that price.

Many fellow programmers and I game on our workstations... And I'm planning to preorder a 2990WX for it.
