AMD X4 760K problem help !

when i play watch dogs in hwmonitor the temperature is 87c in amd overdrive is 38 and in the bios is 48 at 4700 rpm it is really anoying the thermal paste is correctly applyed and the cooler what is wrong ?

This is just confirming that the CPU is an Athlon, is that correct? If so, are you using the stock heatsink? fi you are, the temps will be higher than you would like... my recommendation is to get a better cooler, that is not made by Corsair... Getting back to your issue, the sticky above will contain the information you need to correct, or get an accurate temp. I skimmed it to insure proper information.
