AMD x4 860k FX 4300 or i3 2100 which is better for gaming

Hi guys im building a new pc and i have to choose between the amd x4 860K the FX4300 or the i3 2100 there will be 8gigs of ram and the gpu will be ati HD 6870 or the gtx 560Ti so i will be not upgrading the pc soon so i think the i3 will be kinda bad cuz its a dual core so that leaves me with the x4 860k or the fx 4300 what u think its better?

I am not a fan boy.I just want good performance for the next 1 or 2 years like i have a g3258 and it struggles with the mmos i love to play so the i3 has hyper threading is it better than the 860k or fx 4300 's quad cores?Assuming i won't be upgrading maybe for next 1 or 2 years so what do you think? And is the gpu good with either of theese cpus

Well for most games that only need single thread performance there is nothing much to gain with the I3 2100, As you say i3 has hyper threading. Many games are being developed that will use more cores and some MMOs are moving in that direction.
The Sandy bridge i3 2100 has 2 cores and not a very powerful CPU. The g3258 is at least OC-able. If you want to stay with Socket LGA 1155 get the i3 3250.

If I were you and wanted good gaming and MMO experience, Save your pennies and upgrade.
