Not bad to have the latest PCIe spec. The price will come down with time. I'd say the next generation but the next generation may be using PCIe 5.0 and the PCIe 6.0 for the next after that. Given how closely these specs are getting released now. It's not as though most consumers can even utilize the speed benefits.

Paul's interested in the impact it could have on GPU processing, but I'm just happy to see anything greater than PCIe 3.0 x4 connecting the PCH.
