I got a gigabyte ga-7va mobo with a 2000+ amd xp and 512MB of samsung pc2700. my hardware health utility says my cpu is running near 60c before I even OC it. any ideas on what's a good hs/f for me to use. also, since I'm gonna be using a very similar cpu in the near future, is there one which would be suitable for both of them?

have my eye on this one if it is decent http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=35-150-010&depa=0

beings I'm gonna be in the market for a 3000+ before too long, or at least a 2700+ anyway, figured I may as well see what this thing will do as I've got no use for it after I move on.

any suggestions are appreciated, any comments on what this thing might approach as far as fsb, etc would be helpful too

thank you

naw you dont want that ah heck, it doesn't even have a copper core.

you want this guy because the blower produces more pressure and air flow, with less noise, than an axial flow like the one you were looking at.

this one is also very high quality and will be good for fun overclocking. make sure you get some AS paste

if you are going up to a XP3000 then go for a full copper heatsink
Zalman 7000, Swifttech MCX462, the full Coolermaster Aero 7 or a Volcano 11 Xaser if you r on a budget...

whatever U get, make sure it will fit onto your board...

Trust me I know what I'm doing... ooops, grab the cat...
