amd xp 2000+

I got a gigabyte ga-7va mobo with a 2000+ amd xp and 512MB of samsung pc2700. my hardware health utility says my cpu is running near 60c before I even OC it. any ideas on what's a good hs/f for me to use. also, since I'm gonna be using a very similar cpu in the near future, is there one which would be suitable for both of them?

have my eye on this one if it is decent http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=35-150-010&depa=0

beings I'm gonna be in the market for a 3000+ before too long, or at least a 2700+ anyway, figured I may as well see what this thing will do as I've got no use for it after I move on.

any suggestions are appreciated, any comments on what this thing might approach as far as fsb, etc would be helpful too

thank you

I wouldn't bother overclocking much through FSB, since your VIA mobo doesn't support locking AGP/PCI, your hdd/VGA is gonna start failing before your CPU, so just try to overclock as much as you can through multiplier.

As for that heatsink, it's okay, better than stock, and it's cheap so how could you complaint
