Question amdkmdag.sys+0x 18cdb8 cpu usage spikes and lagging pc

So recently I have noticed that my screen will freeze for around 0.5 seconds and my cpu usage would spike. So i checked a process monitor and found out it was amdkmdag.sys+0x 18cdb8 under systems. I have run malwarebytes and updated graphics drivers.

Any ideas on how to fix this freezing and spiking? it is making using my pc and gaming unbearable.

Is this occurring all the time or just while gaming? What monitor are you using and what kind of fps are you getting when it lags/spikes?
