News AMD's China-exclusive Ryzen CPUs come to the retail market — Ryzen 7 8700F listed for $420 and Ryzen 5 7500F for $296

I would rather take the pricing of the BOX variants of these chips, since this is what the final retail version would be priced and reflected accordingly, unlike the mpk and tray price tags.

So based on this, the Ryzen 7 8700F & Ryzen 5 8400F APUs would cost $752.99 CAD and $481.99 CAD, respectively. Highly inflated price, so obviously these are just placeholders.

The final retail price should be at least -10-15% lower than the MSRPs of the original "G" variants, otherwise AMD would be in a tough spot in the consumer CPU market to sell these iGPU-less F chips.

Thankfully, Funtech shop has listed the boxed pricing, but still on a higher side. Ryzen 5 8400F is listed for 199.90 Euros, slightly more expensive than the boxed Ryzen 5 8500G APU.

The Danish internet store I normally use you have OEM 7500F on sale for 1299dkr with 25% sale tax
That is 175€ or 187$ so raw price without sale tax 146€ or 156$
The store has the chip in stock and say that it's a 12% discount, so that can indicate the price here in EU
