Updated my Razer Synapse(a program that heps manage all my Razer peripheral devices) and it required a restart so i restarted. When it booted I got a message saying "AMD's desktop manager is being unloaded because an AMD display driver is not currently running." Cant move my mouse or use keyboard(altho i am able to use mouse in the bios.) I also had an avg threat that was detected and removed, this is one of maybe 2-3 threats that have ever been detected on this computer maybe even first one ever. So surely it cant be a virus. I believe it was an issue with razer synapse update, but since i cant use my mouse i cant system restore. Computer has been running just fine until this update. Any help??

Update: I tried another keyboard which didnt really work either, but that keyboard has keys to open up an internet window as well as open My Computer, those two keys worked but no other keys did. Not sure why...and my volume controls on my keyboard work

Right. Sorry 😀.
Try any other mouses you might have.
Try running in safe mode.
Try restoring to last working point, I think you can choose this from the same place as normal boot and safe mode.

ive tried another mouse and two different keyboards so far with no success. cant do anything in safe mode either since keyboard or mouse still wont work. and no option for restore

They appear to work, my keyboard/mouse has leds that come on when booted up, as said before i can manage to use volume controls on my keyboard, but i cant type, move mouse, or click anything for some reason....yes it does have a ps/2 socket, and i tried a keyboard with it as well with no success 🙁 it even shows the drivers for that keyboard being installed and rdy to go but i get no response from it. ive booted in safe mode, safe mode with command prompt, there doesnt appear to be anything i can do other than access the bios. altho i dont have any way to system restore from bios

unfortunately i do not have my windows CD as a friend just installed a copy of his windows on mine when he did some work on it a while back. Im have my cd for the amd drivers for my gpu but i got nothing out of that

Well then can you burn a Linux CD atleast for a test?

Alright guys, so i started and turned off the pc 3 times by holding down the power button to make the computer give me a repair system option. which allowed me to do a system restore which worked. I appreciate all the feedback tho guys. glad to have my pc back 😀
