That's really nice, and even better news for those that have software that can't be updated for the mixed cores of Intel.

I can't wait for the power tests in the real world to see if it's a nice portable x64 powerhouse.

Yeah, nice leap in performance over the 6900HX. Solid single core close enough to desktop chips is impressive., including R9/I9 CPU's.

I guess the extra cores in the I9 will always pay dividends in the multicore tests. It's to be expected.
