if it had a 256 bit bus it would use over double the powerThis post just makes me think: how about Nvidia giving us a dual 750ti with a 256-bit bus? Oh lawdy, that would be fun and efficient.
It's all on the retailer's end. AMD, and even XFX, Saphire, etc don't really get any extra off of it. Newegg and the like are just having a field day, though as stated, prices are starting to come back down.Unfortunately prices will be driven through the roof by morons who got to the bitcoin mining party late and still want to make money. One thing I've wondered is does the increased cost get passed to AMD or is it all just retailers gouging and pocketing it all themselves?
Not really. Two single R9 290X's would still be better for mining than this due to the extra heat, I assume.I'd stick a fork in the secret admirer Back on topic, I wonder of the x2's prices will skyrocket once they are found to be THE best thing to own for virtual currency mining...? Makes you wonder huh?
Purely the retailers doing this. One thing I've wondered is does the increased cost get passed to AMD or is it all just retailers gouging and pocketing it all themselves?
