Thus I included in the statement "I need to find proof for it".

i think AMD will just last another quarter and thats the end of it by the look of what Intel and Nvidia is capable of doing now against AMD/ATI.

both Intel and Nvidia just sitting round and watch AMD suffer and wanna see the last drop of blood.because simply if they really want to take AMD out completely.they can make a short term lost by selling their product cheaper or near AMD's price.so all the people will buy theirs and not AMD and that will make AMD die quicker.

Because see what Nvidia and Intel have earn in the past year or so.they can just take a "TINY" chunk out of their profit and wipe out AMD just like that!!!

this report even it said Intel suffer downfall but it still has a positive cashflow unlike AMD.

and Nvidia, well not much to talk is there about after you read it!

Not going to happen by Intel for sure. As a recognized monopoly, they can not afford to be seen to cause the death of thier only competition, through pricing. Nothing would be a slam dunk of course, but Otelini knows that that could cost him Chandler and Isreal.

the whole world is going into recession again and AMD/ATI is not "preparing" very well at the moment.AMD need to redundant staffs to stay alive.so clearly its doing ver bad.and we dont see mmassive staffs cut from Intel and Nvidia.does that mean anything to you?

i seriously want to know how many staff they can cut and how many asset they can sale to get and save money!i feel sorry for those who work for AMD and got laid off though.

True. From the outside it looks like AMD have been loading up with debt in the boom times and aren't in a good position for a recession; though that might well just make them a good candidate for a takeover rather than for bankruptcy.

Certainly it would be bad if there wasn't some kind of competition for Intel.

hum..just had a thought what if later down the year Intel just buy out AMD when AMD worth next to nothing and hence make it disappear forever!!!

i really want to know how long AMD will stay in the market,by that i mean how much money do the boss have that they made before to put back into the business that to make it stay alive.because 10 digit figure is not a small amount even to big company!

Unfortunately Thunderman is currently under going treatment.

Every day Thunderman learns new words other than the following which are

AMD, Thunderbird, Athlon, 64, Phenom, Sempron, and Barcelona.....

He dribbles franticaly at the mouth and jumps vertically 5 times renoucing the devil..

Unfortunately Intel and Devil seem to close for comfort in Thundermans eyes and has receeded in to the corner
occasionally sayin "Bibble " to passers by..

Poor Thunderman, heres some trolling fluffy slippers to talk to...
