Amps or watts?

Hello,
I built a budget gaming rig for my son. Was running fine until I put in another graphics card (radeon 4850 x2) and now it wont display. The card works in another rig but nothing in mine. So I am curious if it not enough amps.Now it runs fine with nvidia geforce 8800 gts. any help would be great. thanks
