hey guys, i have an ati4850 and sometimes its giving me some problems.
i think the prob is bcz of the PSU, i think its a knock off, it says it got 34A on the 12V, but i dont really believe that, i want to check if its true or not.
is there any utility that i can download to test it?
if not, how can i check it with an ammeter?

its a diamond, looked for it, didnt find anythin on it, plus the label doesnt contain much info, it does look like a second or third rate item

You can buy an actual PSU tester designed to take the connectors and check they put out what they are claiming. They are not expensive where i am (UK)

Unless there is something wrong with it, or its really really cheap a 600w PSU, assuming it actually has a 6pin PCIE cable should run a 4850 with no worries.

PSU testers are great (I have one), but they test a PSU only under minimal load. They are pretty much useless for anything other than voltage checks.
