Hello!

Always when I start the YT page or refresh it, an annoying ad bar in blue on the top of the page of Microsoft Edge appears, no matter how many times I Close it by clicking on the X , it reappears again just when I open a new page within the YT or refresh it.

Any way to get rid of it?
I even installed an Extension which blocks the ads, but it didn't help.

Any help please?

Here is a Picture of the ad bar:

I'm not sure how well the feature works on Edge, but Ublock Origin comes with a built-in element hiding tool where you just need to click an eyedropper button then click the object you want to block, which will pop up a little overlay that lets you preview how the page will look once the element is blocked, or adjust exactly what gets blocked. There are some things it won't properly block, but it usually does a pretty good job. It's also possible that some of the optional ad filters may remove things like that.

The extension can be found here...
Edge: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/p/ublock-origin/9nblggh444l4
Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/ublock-origin/

google owns chrome and youtube. they will cross advertise all they can. nothing you can do about it sadly.

i don't know how to block that pop-up. do you have ad-block installed? not sure even that will stop this. i get i as well on FF and i got ad blocks in place as well.

Thank you all for the Reply. And yes I tried adblock, didn't help to get rid of this ad bar.

cryoburner, I installed this Extension "uBlock origin", all what it did it erased the message, but the blue bar remained.

The weird Thing, I didn't have this ad before, it suddenly poped up after I installed Win10 clean and new just two days ago.

EDIT: It worked with uBlock Origin, I had to click on this blue ad twice, and it is gone now. Thank you cryoburner.
