An AIO typically gives you more thermal headroom for your CPU and allows them to run cooler at the same settings vs a traditional air cooler. That’s basically it. Just don’t get a 140mm one

What is the make/model of your case?
Not all AIO coolers will fit.
Will you be overclocking?
Gaming does not put that much stress on the cpu cooling system.
You would likely do equally well with a good twin tower air cooler in a good case.
