An Asus Radeon 6570 low profile in a computer with a 220w psu?

I have an Acer X1920-UR21P small form factor tower. It only has integrated Intel GMA X4500 graphics, so I would like to purchase a new graphics card to upgrade my system. My tower's small form factor limits my options to low profile cards.

I have determined based on performance, size, and availability that I would like to purchase an Asus Radeon 6570 low profile graphics card. However, I am not sure about power consumption, as my tower has a 220w psu and the Radeon 6570 low profile graphics card, according to techspot.com, has a TDP of 44w.

So, is the Asus Radeon 6570 low profile graphics card compatible with my tower and its 220w psu? If not, would the Palit GT 440 low profile be a suitable solution instead? In the case that both draw too much power, what psu would be a compatible upgrade for my small form factor tower and provide enough watts to run the Radeon 6570 low profile or the GT 440 low profile?

the minimum power requirement is 400w but there often exaggerated because the Max power it takes is around 50-60w . however I still don't think it can run it.

If that is your PC then I pretty sure you can run a 6570 with your current PSU.The 6570 and E5800 are both very low wattage compoents.

I installed the video card September 8th and am very satisfied with its performance. When surfing the internet, it runs at 42-44 degrees celcius. However, when playing the Dirt 2 demo on the highest settings at 1600x1200 resolution, the video card reaches 75 degrees celsius. Is this bad?

That's a bit hot for a card of that caliber, but still safe for a load temperature, GPUs are designed to take higher temperatures than CPUs. Does your card have a fan, or is it a passive cooler? If it does have a fan, you can increase the fan speed using the Catalyst Control Center, or you can use MSI Afterburner to set a more aggressive fan profile, which would increase the fan speed more as the temperature increases.

I am not knocking the PS unit I just think theres better out there its the choice of the op to decide what he or she uses. Everyone has different luck with different products I myself have had 50/50 with rosewill love the THOR CASE I HAVE FROM THEM NOT power supplys from past like any vender they all make duds or bad units My luck has been with others in that area ... as far as the specs go yes its a good PS unit just rendering my 2 cents worth lol.
