an example of a serious bottleneck and the results of relieving it

So guys, for about half a year I've had a desktop PC and I had a sapphire dual x 7950 in it. But my motherboard was a asrock 960GM (off the top of my head) and a phenom X2 550. Today I fitted my i5 4690K and my asus z97 a and although there are quite a few bugs to iron out, there is a massive increase in performance. For example, before in just cause 2 at 1280 x 768 (weird I know) I averaged around 40-60 fps. Now I average 160 fps at 1280 x 720 with everything maxed out (v-sync off). Just wanted to share my experience with you guys. Tell me if you've had any bottlenecking experiences.
