Hello hello, I dunno where to put the topic in but I'm pretty screwed from what I did. Now this may sound awful but I did a mistake.

Now my laptop was working alright after having its files corrupted n stuff, and I couldn't activate it since I gotten the wrong version of Windows 10 installed. Now what I should had done is stick with it and probably downgrade it to 8 to get Home instead of Pro but I installed Home on the same partion where Pro is. Now my laptop refuses to load up the OS since winload is corrupted.

I really want to use it again and I feel the only solution to do is to remove the second Windows 10. How can I do that if I can't get into safe mode?

I guess you have a win 10 installer since I don't even know how you could put win 10 home and pro on same partition, one should over write the other. Or did you put it in another partition on same drive?

see if you can use this to rescue any files you might have on laptop - try making this on another PC: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/use-ubuntu-live-cd-to-backup-files-from-your-dead-windows-computer/

On the screen where you choose where to install win 10, if it gives you an error about GPT drives, delete all the partitions on the hdd and press next. If it still gives error, cancel out of the installer and restart PC and start installer again, it will accept next on that screen this time (some PC just need a restart here)

Make sure to put right version on this time
