[SOLVED] An Old CPU for my Motherboard.

I have a Matsonic Ms9107c + motherboard. I bought a processor "Intel Pentium 4 1.8A GHZ / 512K / 400 / 1.5V SL66Q Socket / Socket PPGA478 CPU Northwood" but it doesn't work (the motherboard makes a long beeping sound when started). Then I noticed that the motherboard has mPGA478B on the processor socket. I found on ebay a similar processor "Intel Pentium 4 1.8GHz 400MHz 512KB Socket 478 CPU Prozessor SL66Q" for socket mPGA478B. What is the difference between PPGA and mPGA478B socket? Could this be a problem?

PPGA I believe is Socket P and designed for mobile processors. MPGA478B is for desktop Northwoods so the bios may not detect the required chip
