So I'm trying to find a pair of around ear ANC headphones that are comfortable for me to wear for hours, for around $200.
I've bought and returned the Jabra Elite 85h, but they unfortunately start to touch the tips of my ears after a while, and become uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time.
My current headset is a Sennheiser PC 360, which are open back and an absolute dream to wear, I can wear them for hours and hours without any discomfort whatsoever, but right now I need a closed back, preferably but not neccesarily ANC pair of headphones for office and home use.
Headsets/headphones I have tried that also were not comfortable for long periods: Sennheiser HD 400, Sennheiser HD 569, Cooler Master MH751, HyperX Cloud II.
The problem seems to be that they are either not deep enough, the pads are too soft, which makes the depth irrelevant, or too much clamping force. My Sennheiser PC 360's barely have any clamping force, although the fact that I've had them for 7 years probably has a bit to do with that.
I mostly listen to rock, metal, punk, and probably looking for neutral sounding headphones, if possible.
