News Ancient CD ripping tool updated for the first time in 16 years, now supports Windows 11

I have always avoided WMP like the plague. Foobar2000 is still being maintained and does a great job at ripping audio CDs and is still a great media player after all these years.

CD ripping tool CD2WAV32 has just been updated to version 4.00jp after 16 years in stasis, but Windows 11 was updated to rip CDs back in 2022.

Optical disks still have a place for some. However, not the streaming generation. Both will do. Streaming when in a hurry.
I still have Laserdisk equipment (NTSC) from when my kids were single digits. Now both are in their 40's. :)
I just Rip my CD's then put a bunch of music in the FLAC lossless format on flash drives. I play what I want, where I want and when I want, instantly.
BTW, 4k blu-ray is the lick!
