So it is a month and a half I am experiencing random restarts in my computer.
It started really out of nowhere that my computer restarted by it self and than worked fine for a few days, but all of a sudden another restart came and than another just 15 minutes after that and I got into a "restarting loop" where it just kept restarting before i can even get into windows.

SYSTEM ;
CPU i5 2500 3.3ghz
GPU : 960 gtx EVGA 4gb
RAM 2x4 vengenace 1600mhz
PSU seasonic 620w bronze EVO
CD/DVD disconected
HDD : 500 giga blue caviar something
Mobo : MS 7788 H61M P20 G3

So right now I have upgraded, and tried to fix my problem :

GTX 560 Ti - GTX 960 4GB EVGA
Chieftec 650W PSU - Seasonic 620W Bronze EVO edition

New mobo was bought of same model but nothing
Old CD/DVD disconnected but nothing
New graphic card as stated above
new PSU of really high quality and more than enough for my PC
SSD was taken out for my old HDD with a fresh windows install and it actually restarted once during it and i was so mad I wanted to throw this computer to trash
Of course tried taking out battery and cmos all that crap but nothing it is just frustrating now

After all of this I was finally able to get a fresh windows install on the hdd ( first time it restarted but second time it went through )
I have been on this PC for 4 hours and experienced 2 restarts, one at windows installing and another just a few minutes ago. they are completely random I was not gaming or anything just setting up the new windows install with programs and some movies

Anyways it seems like all that did not fix my problem and all that money was, well not thrown away since i was planning to upgrade anyway but it did not fix my problem which is really annoying knowing I still have to deal with it.

I mean what else could it be?

Take a step back, and list the complete system specs, including the MB model, CPU, and RAM.

I would try taking out all the RAM sticks except one as bad RAM can be a source of system restarts. Then try booting with different RAM sticks to see if you can localize it to a solitary bad one.

Sounds like you already swapped out the MB and the PSU.

Are you monitoring the system temps? Is the CPU running too hot?

MB : MS7788 H61M P20 G3
CPU : i5 2500 3.3ghz ( got it for 5 years nearly )
RAM : 2x4 vengenace 1600mhz

are you sure the RAM could be a problem? if so just take a stick out try it out if still restarts try the other stick and if still restarts means its not a RAM problem?

RAM tested, same result, also tried taking out keyboard and mouse and other usb cabels just to see if there might be some kind of a really bad usb but same thing.

Also tried changing to my old monitor, same problem

MB is placed on some kind of yellow bolts that raises it above the case a bit I guess thats what you mean?

Update : I left it working all night, did not restart at all.
I have left it when I went to work aswell and asked a friend from steam to message me on whatsapp if he sees me logging off ( means computer restarts ), it restarted at about 11:20 so it worked from around 1:00 to 11:20 without any restarts in idle mode with monitor off.
As i got back from work, turned on my monitor and was in the repair your system thing which doesnt find anything as usual and now what a surprise my computer restarts every 5-10 seconds once again I can't even launch windows and I have to use my old crappy laptop again...

sigh I dont know what anymore, is there any way the CPU is dead? like i seriously tried every god damn thing except the CPU and they are super expensive here that I can't afford to just buy one to test it out...

No I never overclock my PC...
I have just tried turning it on after a day and it just went on a restarting rampage again... taking out the battery though made it work for around half an hour... I just dont get this anymore what can be the problem...

I still have the same problem... anyone else who can help?

I tried turning automatic restart on system failure off but it still restarts without any message or bsod...

I try taking out cmos battery once again and HEY! it actually worked for around 16 hours without any restart and than bam.

once again it is not a temp problem I checked MSI quiet a few times and my CPU runs at 35-50C and GPU at 40-45C and I have no difference in temps when I play a heavy game as fallout 4 maybe just a few temps up.

There is also no difference when i just watch videos or game or anything the restarts are so random and so annoying I dont even know

also last night after it restarted once again after 16 hours I turned it on and had such an annoying long beep for like what? 2 minutes and I just turned the PC off, The beep did not stop and only after waiting another minute it actually changed from that long beep to about 10-20 little beeps and it stopped, after that i turned on the PC again and the it just restarts now every few minutes im in the computer. ( no beeps yet after that rampage but i did go to sleep around 15 minutes after while checking if the pc will turn on )

Can anyone help? this is really last hope before i take it to tech, only reason I dont like taking it to tech at this stage because they are going to play with it really long and try everything I alredy did so I am really trying to fix it my self but I tried so much and nothing!
