And another solar firm goes bankrupt

A good recap here:

I do not include Energy Conversion Devices, Inc. in my Solyndra series because, near as I can tell, we the taxpayers are not on the hook for this one.

Cannot blame Obama for everything.

We don't, only that he approved and pushed giving a ton of our money to a company with a poor business model and plan.

I appreciate trying, but so many failures, and all the while, there are people stating these are not good moves, yet he ignores this.
As he does that, spending our money, he also shuts down, slows down creation of known sources of energy, using a European tact, also same as the smoking tact, by raising the costs higher to discourage usage, which is dangerous on many levels when talking energy, of course that is, if you have the belief the US doesnt need to stand out, and actually can afford to be a Euro nation, with less stature

I wouldn't think that law to apply since we've shipped thousands of tons of material into space. I would think the earth to be tons lighter today than heavier. I can't imagine as many meteors hitting earth to equate to a 40 ton satellite going into orbit here and there.
