Question Android 9 Pie Update Causing Whiteout

Above, I have provided a screenshot of my current issue. Since updating my Note 9 to the Android 9 Pie OS, it has totally changed certain primary applications causing a whiteout appearance that not even themes or icon packs can alter. My other phone is also a Note 9 with same update, and it appears fine. Any ideas would be appreciated.
