This is an Android Tablet question that involves a NetGear AC7500 R6400 router. Being what it is, wasn't sure if this belonged under the networking forum or the android forum. So here goes.

My router has a USB file storage feature. You plug a USB drive into the router and it becomes a network storage device. In WIndows, you just open file explorer and type in \\ReadyShare and it pops right up. It can even be Mapped as a network drive for easy access.

Problem is, I can't get my Android tablet to find it. I downloaded an app called EZ File Manager and tried a variety of input strings but it won't find it. Tried using the router's IP address, using http:// pretext, the @ sympbol, and various other strings without luck. The EZ File Manager does see my own PC in the list, but nothing I do will allow it to see the \\readyshare folder.

Any suggestions?

android works on top of linux, so u can use linux guides for it
anyway since we dont know how is your folder shared, feel free to try this ubuntu guide
just
https://help.ubuntu.com/stable/ubuntu-help/nautilus-connect.html.en

u can also try ES file explorer, it can handle network folders, even cloud servers
https://es-file-explorer.en.uptodown.com/android

Tried the ES File Explorer and another app as well and neither will connect to it. Both see my PC, but not the router folder. Thanks for the help but I'm still stuck.
